Redesigning the entry and payment flow to support flexible access and transparent pricing, informed by product insights and behavioral considerations.
Final Design Preview
Context
LANS is a ClassPass-style platform for booking coworking spaces on demand. As the founding designer, I worked with engineering and product stakeholders to redesign the core entry and payment experience from onboarding through checkout.
Entry point
Challenge:
The MVP prioritized speed over clarity. Users booked without seeing key details, leading to accidental bookings, support tickets, and checkout drop-off.
8% accidental bookings
82% of support tickets tied to booking confusion
37% checkout drop-off
The challenge was to increase trust and clarity without slowing down booking.

Solution
I redesigned the booking flow to surface key workspace details earlier, add a review step before payment, and reduce friction for repeat bookings with an in-app wallet.
Impact
After launch, booking errors dropped from 8% to 0%, returning user rate increased from 64% to 82%, and time to book decreased from 28 to 19 seconds, improving trust, reducing support burden, and creating a faster, more reliable booking experience.
