Designed to support more than 30 million Medicare beneficiaries, I led the end-to-end design of a behavioral health enrollment experience connecting eligible members to Headspace at no cost. The experience spanned verification, consent, clinical screening, assessments, and personalized care planning.
Challenges
Due to strict regulatory and compliance requirements, enrolling in the program required a lengthy onboarding experience with multiple mandatory steps. For older adults, this created a high-friction experience where maintaining clarity, confidence, and momentum became just as important as completing the enrollment itself.
This portion of the enrollment experience highlights the many required steps members needed to complete before accessing care. The design challenge was making the journey feel clear, approachable, and supportive for older adults.
Solution
A guided enrollment experience that made a highly regulated healthcare workflow feel clearer, safer, and more supportive.
Impact
Although this project is currently pre-launch, it established the foundation for Headspace’s behavioral health initiative and a scalable enrollment framework designed to support 30M+ Medicare beneficiaries.
